- Daily number of tablets, capsules, or scoops
- Price and calculated price per serving
- Expiration date and storage instructions
Ingredients
- Every active ingredient and amount
- Percent Daily Value, when established
- Proprietary blends with undisclosed individual amounts
- Other ingredients, allergens, sweeteners, and stimulants
- Overlapping ingredients in products you already use
Evidence and quality
- Exact claim made for the complete product
- Evidence for the product versus one isolated ingredient
- Independent third-party certification, if verified
- Manufacturer contact and lot information
- Adverse-event reporting instructions
Questions before use
- Could this interact with medication or another supplement?
- Is it appropriate for my age and health circumstances?
- Should it be stopped before surgery or laboratory testing?
- What symptoms should prompt stopping and seeking help?
- Have I asked a pharmacist or qualified healthcare professional?
